Job summary

ScrollTab is seeking a seasoned Database Administrator to support global database infrastructure. You will maintain and optimize operations across Sybase ASE/IQ, UDB DB2, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle and other platforms on Linux, with a focus on reliability and performance.

Daily duties include monitoring, incident remediation, scheduling with Autosys, and implementing change management. You will collaborate with application and IT support teams to ensure timely responses to critical requests and

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Database Administration or related role.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux v5/6/7/8.
• Extensive experience with Sybase ASE/IQ/Replication.
• Strong knowledge of UDB/DB2 with HADR and DB2 design/maintenance.
• Experience in complex systems, banking domain knowledge, and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for multiple database platforms across global environments.
• Perform daily monitoring and manage provisioning requests and change control.
• Schedule maintenance and conduct root cause analysis for failures.
• Collaborate with application support and IT teams for critical requests.
• Lead small database initiatives including migrations and end-of-life planning.
