Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 1 to join the Financial Services unit, focusing on database administration and production support. You will resolve Tier 1 incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with onsite and offshore teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with Sybase and DB2, ITIL-aligned change management, and the ability to script in Shell on Linux/Unix; relocation/travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Hands-on experience managing enterprise databases, performing troubleshooting and performance analysis.
• Experience administering, monitoring, and maintaining Sybase and/or DB2 database environments.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Tier 1 incidents and assist in root cause analysis.
