Job summary

Steneral Consulting seeks an experienced Oracle DBA to administer, optimize, and migrate critical ERP databases. Candidates should have a strong track record with Oracle 19c/26ai, OCI, RAC/ASM, RMAN, and Data Guard in Linux environments.

You will maintain security, performance, and disaster recovery strategies while providing expert support for on-premises and cloud databases. A BA/BS and OCP certification are preferred, with SQL Server experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Administer, maintain, and develop policies to ensure security and integrity of ERP databases.
• Implement data models, database designs, data access, and table maintenance codes.
• Resolve performance, capacity, replication, and distributed data issues related to ERP databases.
• Support and maintain Oracle 19c and Oracle 26ai databases with at least 10 years of DBA experience.
• Manage Oracle databases both on-premises and in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Migrate Oracle and COV Agency Oracle databases to OCI.
• Utilize Oracle RAC and ASM on Linux environments.
• Manage Dataguard Physical Standby configurations.
• Perform RMAN backup and recovery operations.
• Use export/import Data Pump utilities and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Conduct performance tuning, security management, patching, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Work under general supervision, reporting to a manager, with a degree of creativity and independence.
• Hold a Bachelor s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Possess Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2019 or newer is required.
• Experience supporting Linux/Unix System Administration is a plus.
