Job summary

Arch Capital Services LLC is seeking a Data Warehouse Support Manager to lead the ongoing support, stability, and performance of our Segment Data Warehouse environment underpinning actuarial, underwriting, claims, and finance reporting. The role bridges technical operations with business needs, manages incident response, data quality controls, and coordinates with IT, BI, and governance teams.

Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years in data warehouse support/operations, with 2–3 years in management.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, SQL, and relational/cloud databases.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and SQL Server.
• Experience with data replication/CDC tools such as Qlik Replicate.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident management and service-delivery processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day data warehouse support operations and incident resolution.
• Lead a team of analysts/engineers overseeing pipelines, notebooks, and batch processes.
• Own production support SLAs, on-call rotations, and release governance.
• Ensure data quality and lineage across source systems and the warehouse.
• Coordinate with data providers and downstream consumers, including third-party feeds.
• Support Power BI semantic models and data refreshes with BI developers.
• Drive automation and observability across the data stack and runbooks.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation across Databricks, ADF, Snowflake and SQL Server.
