Job summary

Arch Capital Group Ltd. seeks a Data Quality Lead to steer QA efforts for our Reinsurance Datawarehouse and BI initiatives. You will design and drive test plans, validate data transformations, and lead cross-functional teams across cloud data environments.

Hybrid role based in Farmington, CT or Morristown, NJ with regular in-office collaboration 3x a week. Requires 5+ years in data warehousing, strong SQL, and Azure data platform experience.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, defect management, and Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
• Strong experience with Azure-based data platforms and data quality validation.
• Hands-on SQL skills for data reconciliation and validation in reporting.
• Experience validating data for complex BI reporting and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts of Reinsurance Datawarehouse Application releases.
• Build and execute QA test plans for Datawarehouse solutions, including data validation.
• Design Master Test Plan for data projects with manual and automated regression.
• Lead QA Analysts, review SQL scripts and test cases.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated data tests into deployment pipelines.
• Implement automated checks for data completeness and referential integrity in Snowflake.
• Verify RBAC and data masking to ensure GDPR or industry regulations.
• Reconcile Power BI reports with Snowflake data and source systems.
• Establish QA standards, procedures and policies for test environments.
• Develop action plans with product manager to address gaps.
• Produce quality control evidence for business and audit approval.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing with Finance, Actuaries and Underwriters.
