Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Health, Health Economics Program, is hiring a Research Scientist 2 to support critical health services research by administering MN APCD, MN HDD and other data sources. The role emphasizes data quality frameworks, validation, and dashboards.

You will promote statewide health policy through data sharing initiatives, develop data capacity, oversee data management and compliance, and produce technical documentation and user support.

Qualifications

• Experience with health data administration and data quality frameworks.
• Experience with data validation systems and dashboards preferred.
• Ability to coordinate data management and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer Minnesota All Payer Claims Database (MN APCD) and Minnesota Hospital Discharge Database (MN HDD).
• Develop and implement data quality frameworks and validation systems.
• Create comprehensive technical and user documentation; promote data sharing initiatives and dashboards.
