Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineer experience.
• Strong Python development experience with data analytics tooling (pandas, NumPy).
• Solid SQL skills and understanding of data modelling concepts.
• Hands-on GitLab experience and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with unit tests, integration tests, and TDD.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum in a global/remote team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications, services, and automation powering analytics and audit workflows.
• Build and expose secure RESTful APIs (Flask or similar) for internal apps and downstream consumers.
• Design data models and write efficient SQL to support reporting and analytics.
• Manage source control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Package and deploy to containerized environments with platform teams.
• Champion engineering quality through unit tests and TDD.
• Collaborate with product owners and audit stakeholders in a global Agile/Scrum setting.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, maintainability, and developer experience.
