Job summary

SRI Conference is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications powering analytics and audit workflows. You will build secure RESTful APIs with Flask or similar frameworks and develop responsive user interfaces using React and JavaScript.

You will model data with SQL, optimize queries for reporting, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in GitLab. A fast-paced, global Agile/Scrum team will collaborate closely to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineer experience.
• 3–5 years of strong Python development building production apps with pandas/NumPy.
• Front-end experience: 1–2 years with React and modern JavaScript.
• Solid SQL skills and data modeling fundamentals.
• GitLab experience and CI/CD pipelines knowledge.
• Experience with unit/integration tests and TDD.
• Agile/Scrum track record with distributed global teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based apps and automation.
• Build and expose secure RESTful APIs (Flask or similar).
• Develop responsive UIs using React and JavaScript.
• Design data models and write efficient SQL for reporting and analytics.
• Manage source control and CI/CD in GitLab; improve pipelines.
• Containerize and deploy apps in Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
• Promote quality via unit/integration tests and TDD.
• Collaborate with product and audit stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum setup.
