Job summary

AssistRx, Inc. seeks a Data Steward to ensure data quality, integrity, and proper use across the organization. You will support enterprise data governance and execute day-to-day stewardship across master, transactional, and reference data.

You will work with business and technical teams to maintain trusted data assets for critical decision-making, handle data quality issues, and help enforce data standards and policies across the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with enterprise data, assessing data quality, and collaborating with business users on data workflows.
• Familiarity with data quality, stewardship, or MDM tools (e.g., Reltio, Informatica, Talend)
• Basic understanding of data matching, normalization, and cleansing processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of SQL or business intelligence tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review and validate enterprise data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with data standards
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues including duplicates, inconsistencies, and missing values
• Collaborate with business users and data analysts to refine data requirements and enforce data standards
• Participate in data quality reviews and assist with corrective/preventive actions
• Manage stewardship workflows for data quality exceptions (matching, merging, enrichment)
• Support onboarding and validation of new data sources across systems
• Document business metadata, data definitions, and stewardship procedures
• Assist with data profiling and root cause analysis across datasets
• Use Excel, SQL, and MDM or data quality platforms to monitor data quality
• Provide support for data audits, regulatory reporting, or operational processes
• Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve data issues
• Stay current on data governance best practices in regulated industries
• Perform other duties as assigned
