Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for the Data Platform (Starlink) to help build and scale the enterprise data layer powering satellite broadband. You will own end-to-end software development, ingest and process large-scale data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product and architectural decisions.

The role emphasizes solving hard data challenges, enabling reliable pipelines, and delivering impactful solutions for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, data science, engineering, math, physics or scientific discipline OR 2+ years of professional software experience
• 1+ years of experience in full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science

Responsibilities

• Develop a highly reliable and scalable enterprise data platform enabling ingestion, processing, storage and petabyte-scale querying
• Create new functionality and end-to-end data pipelines to improve SpaceX business operations
• Collaborate with peers on architecture, design, and code reviews
• Build prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into business problems and apply first principles thinking
