SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer, Data to join the Starlink program in a data-focused role. You will solve challenging data problems, design scalable pipelines, and contribute to applications that empower SpaceX engineers and operations.

Ideal candidates have strong Python/Java/SQL skills, experience with big data tools like Kafka, Spark, and Flink, and the ability to work on end-to-end data solutions in a fast-paced environment. Top Secret clearance highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 2+ years of professional software experience
• 1+ years of full stack, data engineering, or data science
• Active Top-Secret or Top-Secret SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable and scalable data pipelines for SpaceX engineers
• Create new applications to improve SpaceX business operations
• Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews
• Build prototypes to prove design concepts and quantify constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into business problems and apply first principles thinking
