Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer, Data (Starlink) to build a scalable data platform powering ingestion, processing, storage and petabyte-scale queries for Starlink’s broadband network. You will own end-to-end data pipelines and collaborate on architecture, design and reviews with a team of engineers.

Aerospace experience isn’t required; you’ll solve business problems with first principles thinking and deliver solutions that impact communities worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or 2+ years of software experience.
• 1+ years of experience in full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science.

Responsibilities

• Develop a highly reliable and scalable enterprise data platform powering ingestion, processing, storage, and petabyte-scale queries.
• Create new functionality and end-to-end data pipelines to improve business operations.
• Collaborate with peers on architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Build prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Analyze business problems and apply first principles to find efficient solutions.
