SpaceX, the company creating ambitious technologies for Starlink, seeks a Sr. Software Engineer for the Data Platform team. You will own data pipelines and the platform, enabling scalable ingestion, processing, storage and fast querying at scale.

You will collaborate with architecture and product teams to design robust solutions and contribute across the lifecycle from concept to deployment, while embracing SpaceX's mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or 7+ years of software experience.
• 5+ years in full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science.

Responsibilities

• Develop a highly reliable and scalable enterprise data platform empowering users to ingest, process, store, and query at petabyte-scale.
• Create new functionality and end-to-end data pipelines that improve how the business at SpaceX operates.
• Collaborate with peers on architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
