Job summary

Menlo Security is expanding data-centric protection across its browser security platform and is hiring a Product Designer to own the end-to-end user experience for this vertical, partnering closely with product management and engineering to design admin-facing policy controls, end-user file interaction flows, and risk surfaces that make complex data protection decisions feel simple and trustworthy.

This is a high-ownership role on a small, tightly connected design team where one person’s work

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of product design experience in B2B or enterprise apps.
• Experience designing for technical/admin audiences — policy builders, rules engines, dashboards.
• Ability to map multi-step workflows with conditional logic and edge cases.
• A portfolio showing complex rules-based systems simplified into usable interfaces.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern design system workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for data security and file security features (DLP, scanning, sanitization, alerts).
• Translate complex security logic into admin experiences that are configurable but clear.
• Design AI/ML-driven classification explanations, risk indicators, and override/review paths.
• Develop end-user moments like download warnings, redaction previews, and access requests.
• Collaborate with PM/Engineering to scope features and run discovery with customers and admins; use AI-assisted tools to synthesize insights.
