Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–4 years in IT security, with preferred certifications such as CISSP, Security+, AZ-500/SC-200, or GIAC. Experience with risk assessment, incident response, and security auditing is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field; exceptions with experience.
• 2–4 years in IT security or systems administration.
• Certifications preferred: CISSP, Security+, AZ-500/SC-200, or GIAC (GCIH/GCIA).

Job Overview

The IT Security Administrator supports AltaMed's Security Operations by actively maintaining system and process compliance with regulatory standards and implementing information security best practices across the organization.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (Associate degree may be acceptable with experience).
• Experience: 2–4 years in IT security or systems administration roles.
• Preferred Certifications: CISSP, Security+, Microsoft AZ-500/SC-200, or relevant GIAC certifications (such as GCIH or GCIA).

Compensation

$88,813.86 - $111,017.32 annually
