The IT Security Analyst supports AltaMed’s Security Operations by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events, service requests, and identity-related activities across the organization’s technological environment. This role serves as an escalation point from the IT Helpdesk for security and access-related issues, supports Identity and Access Management (IAM) onboarding and offboarding processes, collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve security-related issues, and assists with audits and compliance activities. The IT Security Analyst operates in a regulated healthcare environment and supports IT Security Administrators and Security Engineers.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in IT security, SOC, IT operations, systems administration, or helpdesk escalation roles.
Security+, CySA+, Microsoft SC-200, or equivalent security certifications
$88,391.68 - $110,489.60 annually
Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. AltaMed is committed to ensuring a fair and competitive compensation package that reflects the candidate's value and the role's strategic importance within the organization. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
