Suzano is seeking a Data Scientist to drive data-informed decision-making across our business operations. You will analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights supporting operational excellence, sustainability initiatives, and strategic growth.

The role requires collaboration with IT, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure data quality, governance, and scalable analytics pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years in a Data Scientist/Analyst/BI role.
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL.
• Experience with statistical modeling and ML techniques.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience with large datasets and relational databases.
• Ability to translate analytics into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop, test, and deploy predictive and prescriptive analytics models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform data mining, statistical analysis, and ML modeling to improve performance.
• Develop data pipelines and automate processes for efficiency and scalability.
