Job summary

Tensor is seeking talented data scientists/analysts to join our simulation/evaluation org. You will contribute to cutting-edge quantitative evaluation methodologies that validate and evolve our self-driving car systems.

Locations include San Jose, Barcelona, Singapore and Dubai. The San Jose role offers a salary range of $75k–$300k USD, reflecting a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth in a fast-moving, innovative company.

Qualifications

• Master or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in data science/analyst or related role
• 1+ years of experience in data sampling, quantitative evaluation and A/B testing
• Strong Python programming skills
• Proficiency in SQL and working with large databases
• Excellent communication, strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Sample and process large datasets from self-driving car logs to evaluate new software in simulation
• Define and develop metrics for onboard systems and perform statistical analysis
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate self-driving car behavior in simulation
