Job summary

Tensor is seeking a backend infrastructure engineer to design, develop, and deploy features for a large-scale simulation and evaluation platform powering autonomous driving research.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, optimize for low latency and reliability, and apply your expertise in distributed systems and C++.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in infra backend, especially distributed systems.
• High proficiency in C++.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy features and services in a large-scale distributed infrastructure that enables simulations and evaluations of the autonomous driving system.
• Optimize the infrastructure for usability, reliability, low latency, high efficiency, etc.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their needs and build in your own technical insights to improve the simulation and evaluation infra.

Qualifications

• A BS/MS in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in infra backend, especially distributed systems.
• High proficiency in C++.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferences

• Experience in simulation/evaluation infra for AV software.
• Experience in Python.
