Tensor invites engineers to join our Simulation team in San Jose, shaping autonomous vehicle software through high-fidelity vehicle dynamics simulation and validation. You will collaborate with frontend, backend and modeling engineers to push safe, scalable simulation platforms for real-world driving scenarios.

We seek 2+ years in ADS-related simulation, 3+ years in software development (C++/Python) and strong architecture design experience.

• 2+ years of simulation modeling development experience in ADS related industry with vehicle dynamics focus.
• 3+ years of software development experience, including internship.
• 2+ years of architecture design experience for new/existing systems.
• Experience programming in C++ and Python.

Responsabilidades

• Model, design and develop vehicle dynamics simulation software to high realism.
• Calibrate and set up parameters for vehicle dynamics model and build automatic solutions.
• Design and develop metrics to evaluate simulation realism and real-world performance.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend and modeling engineers to ensure integration of services.
• Work with users to locate issues, define features, and address simulation bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Model, design and develop a vehicle dynamics simulation software with high realistic standard.
• Calibrate and set up the parameters for the vehicle dynamics model and build automatic solution.
• Design and develop metrics to evaluate and ensure vehicle dynamics works as real world in simulation.
• Work closely with other frontend, backend and modeling engineer to ensure simulation services work together as expected.
• Work closely with simulation users to locate issue, define feature, build codes to address simulation bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of simulation modeling development experience in ADS related industry and focus on vehicle dynamics simulation.
• 3+ years of experience in software development experience, including internship
• 2+ years of experience in architecture design (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience in programming with at least one software programming language, including C++ and Python.

Preferences

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Master's degree in vehicle engineering, computer science, software engineering or equivalent.
