Qualifications

• 1+ year applying data science methods to real-world problems.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and SQL for querying data.
• Working knowledge of applied statistics and ML methods.
• Experience cleaning data and ETL/ELT concepts with Git workflows.
• Experience producing visual analytics and reports for decision-makers (Power BI preferred).
• Excellent communication with stakeholders to translate needs into analyses.

Responsibilities

• Query, clean, transform, and prepare data from government systems for analysis.
• Develop, validate, and document predictive and prescriptive models and forecasts.
• Support NLP use cases and LLM workflows within approved tools and datasets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and executive reports using Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to measure program efficacy and ROI.
• Automate recurring analyses and monthly/quarterly reports.
• Document data sources, transformations, and validation procedures.
• Explain complex methods clearly to non-technical leadership.
