Job summary

RTX is seeking a Data Scientist II to support Radar Sensor Systems in Plano, TX. This onsite role collaborates with Applied AI and engineering teams to deliver analytics products for manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain.

You will design data visualizations using PowerBI/Tableau, analyze large datasets, apply machine learning, and drive data-driven decisions across stakeholders. A STEM degree with 2+ years' experience and DoD Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Python (numpy, scipy, scikit-learn) for ML applications.
• Databases management and SQL development.
• Software development practices: documentation, testing, bug tracking, version control, MLOps.
• Active and transferable U.S. government Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data visualizations (PowerBI/Tableau) to communicate insights.
• Analyze large data sets and generate actionable reports and recommendations.
• Apply ML algorithms for data cleaning, exploration, and visualization.
• Perform feature engineering to support evidence-based decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering to convey findings and address technical challenges.
