Job summary

RTX in the United States seeks a Systems Engineer II to join the Radar Performance and Analysis team in Woburn, MA.

You will evaluate radar data, develop automated workflows in MATLAB and Python, and report KPIs/TPMs to program leadership and military stakeholders. This onsite role requires a DoD Secret clearance and a STEM degree.

Qualifications

Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience in test methodology, data analysis, scripting, and/or software development.
Experience with Matlab, Python, Perl, C/C++, Unix, and/or Linux.

Responsibilities

Parse, process, and analyze raw sensor data, tracks, and detections to evaluate algorithm performance, target discrimination, and tracking accuracy.
Conduct scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations.
Perform system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
Lead system-level requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability, managing the full verification and validation (V&V) lifecycle.
Establish, monitor, and report on KPMs and TPMs, proactively identifying performance trends, variances, and system risks.
Develop and maintain robust MATLAB and Python scripts to automate large-scale data ingestion, statistical modeling, and performance report generation.
Translate complex data findings into clear technical presentations, dashboards, and documentation for program leadership and military stakeholders.
