Alvarez & Marsal in San Francisco seeks an Associate or Senior Associate for Digital Finance Transformation in Private Equity Performance Improvement. You will modernize financial data environments, automate processes, and build analytics-driven tools to deliver measurable impact.

The role blends strong Python/SQL skills with finance knowledge, working directly with CFOs, Controllers, and FP&A leaders to design and implement scalable digital solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of professional experience; consulting or services preferred.
• Advanced Python with ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong SQL skills; experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse.
• ETL/orchestration tools: Dagster, Temporal, ADF, AWS Glue, Fivetran.
• Develop lightweight finance apps using Streamlit or Retool.
• Finance knowledge: forecasting, working capital, three-statement modeling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; bridge finance and tech.
• Willing to travel as required.
