Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for a Digital Finance Transformation role within the Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) team. You will help portfolio companies accelerate digital enablement in finance, modernize data environments, automate processes, and build analytics-driven tools that create measurable value.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional experience; consulting or professional services preferred.
• Advanced Python programming experience with familiarity of ML libraries.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric).
• Experience with ETL/orchestration tools (Dagster, Temporal, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Fivetran, Matillion).
• Demonstrated ability to develop lightweight finance apps using Streamlit or Retool.
• Solid understanding of finance concepts, including forecasting, working-capital management, and three-statement modeling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate between finance and tech teams.
