Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for our Digital Finance Transformation within PEPI. You will modernize finance data environments, automate processes, and build analytics-driven tools that deliver measurable business impact.

The role combines strong Python/SQL skills with finance operations knowledge, working directly with CFOs and FP&A leaders to design, implement, and scale digital solutions across portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of professional experience; consulting or professional services experience preferred.
• Advanced Python programming with ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with ETL/orchestration tools (Dagster, Temporal, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Fivetran, Matillion).
• Demonstrated ability to develop lightweight finance applications using Streamlit or Retool.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts, including forecasting, working capital, and three‑statement modeling.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; translate between finance and technology teams.
