Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Data Scientist (Corporate) to build predictive models and data products that power customer insights and hyper-personalized CRM campaigns.

You will own end-to-end models from feature engineering to deployment, collaborating with Data Engineering, CRM, Marketing, and Merchandising to productionize analytics in Databricks. The role emphasizes ML model development, data engineering for analytics, and MLOps.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mathematics / Statistics / Data Science and Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or a related field.
• 4+ years hands-on experience in data science, applied machine learning, or customer analytics.
• Experience in Retail, CPG, e-commerce, or subscription/loyalty-driven businesses is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Predictive Modeling: Build ML models across development, training, validation, and deployment in Python.
• Segmentation: Develop behavioral and value-based segments for activation by CRM/Marketing.
• MBA, survival analysis, uplift modeling, and recommender approaches to identify revenue opportunities.
• Data pipelines and production-ready code in Databricks; CI/CD for analytics assets.
• A/B and multivariate test design for campaigns; measure and report results.
