Job summary

AAR, based in Wood Dale, IL (moving to Chicago’s Merchandise Mart in 2027), is building an AI-powered aviation market intelligence platform. We are hiring a Data Scientist who will help shape the product from ideation through production, partnering with leaders across analytics, engineering, and product teams to translate business problems into scalable ML solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data science, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience delivering end-to-end ML projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong Python, SQL, statistics, and predictive modeling skills.
• Experience building end-to-end machine learning solutions.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets in a business environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions.
• Build forecasting, market intelligence, and optimization capabilities.
• Analyze large and diverse datasets to uncover actionable business insights.
• Partner with business leaders to translate complex business problems into scalable data solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineering, software engineering, and product teams to deliver production-ready models.
• Help shape the roadmap and future direction of a strategic AI initiative.
