Job summary

AAR Corp. seeks a Solution Architect & Data Engineer to design, build, and scale a strategic analytics platform for the aerospace aftermarket. You will translate business needs into scalable data pipelines, models, and analytics products, while coding and guiding data engineers in a fast-moving environment.

The role blends architecture, data engineering, analytics, and stakeholder engagement, with a path to relocate to Chicago in 2027.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering, solution architecture, or analytics engineering.
• Strong experience in cloud-based data analytics solutions.
• Hands-on with SQL, PySpark, Java Spring, ETL/ELT, data modeling, APIs.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and roadmaps for advanced analytics platforms.
• Build scalable data pipelines and data models for analytics and AI.
