Job Title: Data Scientist III

Pay rate: $82 per hour

Duration: 6 months

Description:

• Looking for someone experienced with the latest AI technologies to create pipelines and work on internal projects.
• Must be able to work on servers and troubleshoot issues.
• Requires Python experience.
• Preferably with AI or Deep Learning background.

Education and Experience:

• PhD in Computational Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Masters degree with 5+ years of relevant experience also acceptable.
• Strong experience in Machine Learning.
• Experience working with biological data.
• Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• NGS Data experience (plus).
• Large Language Model (LLM) experience (plus).

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement AI models aligned with business needs.
• Integrate external AI programs and ensure compatibility with internal systems.
• Develop and refine deep learning models using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and other tools.
• Research and implement large language models (LLMs) for real-world data analysis.
• Apply Bayesian modeling techniques to multimodal data.
• Support troubleshooting, optimization, and updates of AI models to enhance performance.

Qualifications:

• PhD in relevant fields or a Masters with extensive experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong Python programming skills, with experience in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Understanding and experience with deploying AI/ML solutions involving large language models.
• Knowledge of Bayesian modeling is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience at the intersection of AI and biology, especially biological data applications.
• Deep learning experience in image analysis.
• Experience with cloud computing environments.
• Familiarity with other AI frameworks or models like BERT, LLAMA.
