Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking a Data Science Manager for Risk Control and Security within TikTok Shop's USDS division. You will lead a team of data scientists to detect, prevent, and mitigate platform risks, and align local work with global initiatives.

This in-person leadership role requires SQL and Python expertise, experience with big data environments, fraud detection, and AI-enabled risk strategies to deliver scalable data products that protect millions of users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Science or Risk Analytics.
• 3+ years in people management.
• Mastery of SQL and Python/R.
• Experience with Hive, Hadoop, Spark.
• Experience developing automated rules for fraud or security.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of data scientists delivering core analytical outputs.
• Define and track metrics for risk and security.
• Build scalable data pipelines and automated reporting.
• Analyze fraud patterns and security threats to inform decisions.
• Develop automation rules and risk strategies to detect bad actors.
