Job summary

TikTok is seeking motivated Data Science interns for its campus internship program in California. Interns will gain hands-on experience across data analytics, metrics definition, experimentation, and feature evaluation while collaborating with User Growth, Content Ecosystem, and Product teams.

The program offers opportunities to apply knowledge to real-world challenges, participate in development workshops, and explore potential career paths within TikTok.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/ Master’s in Data Science or a related Data Science discipline.
• Proficient in data querying languages and at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, R).
• Experience in forecasting, statistical and causal inference, classification methods.

Responsibilities

• Define success metrics to measure product growth and identify problems through monitoring or forecasting.
• Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining to develop strategies for product optimizations.
• Quantify the impact of strategies through causal inference and generate actionable insights through deep dive analysis.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and cross-functional teams to influence and execute product strategy.
