Job summary

TikTok is seeking PhD interns for our Monetization Products Data Science team in the United States. You will analyze large datasets, design end-to-end projects, and work with cross-functional teams to translate insights into business impact.

This 12-week, full-time internship (Summer 2027) offers exposure to A/B testing, advanced analytics, and a collaborative, globally distributed environment. Interns receive health and wellbeing benefits, paid holidays, and housing allowance where applicable.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a PhD in a quantitative field.
• Experience querying/manipulating data with SQL/Python/R.
• Experience performing data analysis with Python/R/MATLAB.
• Must commit to a 12-week full-time internship during Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to solve business problems.
• Design, analyze and interpret projects end-to-end from data gathering to modeling.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities using advanced analytics.
• Design, run and interpret experiments including A/B tests.
• Communicate insights to leadership for strategic decisions.
