Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Data Redaction Specialist to support a large-scale data remediation initiative in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on reviewing high volumes of files, removing sensitive information, and maintaining thorough documentation to meet data governance and risk standards.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years in related roles, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Acrobat Pro.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in business execution, implementation, or strategic planning.
• Experience reviewing and redacting documents in corporate, regulatory, risk or data-governance environments.
• Strong Excel skills with complex formulas and data matching.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps, Adobe Acrobat Pro and file-management practices.

Responsibilities

• Review large volumes of documents across Microsoft 365, PDFs, and other formats.
• Identify and redact proprietary, confidential, or sensitive information per policy.
• Validate redactions for completeness and accuracy with quality-control reviews.
• Maintain logs, evidence, audit trails, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with business, technology, cybersecurity, legal, compliance, and risk partners.
• Use advanced data tools to support data matching, inventory management, and metrics.
