Strategic Staffing Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Data Redaction Specialist to support a large-scale remediation project. You will review high volumes of files, identify and redact sensitive information, and maintain documentation to meet data governance and compliance standards.

This hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) is a W2 contract of 12+ months with potential extension.

Qualifications

Experience reviewing and redacting documents in corporate/regulatory, risk, or data-governance environments.
Advanced proficiency with Excel formulas, data matching, reconciliation, and large data-set analysis.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and file-management practices.
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow detailed procedures to produce high-quality results.

Responsibilities

Review large volumes of documents across Microsoft 365, PDFs, and other formats to identify redaction needs.
Identify and redact proprietary, confidential, or sensitive information per policies and acceptance criteria.
Maintain logs, evidence, audit trails, and supporting documentation for review and compliance.
Use Excel and tools to support data matching, inventory tracking, and reconciliation.
