Everforth Apex is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support a large-scale data remediation initiative in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on reviewing high volumes of files, redacting sensitive information, and maintaining thorough documentation.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in governance, risk, or data projects, with strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills. This is a hybrid, 12-month contract offering comprehensive benefits and professional growth.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in business execution, implementation, or strategic planning.
Experience reviewing and redacting documents in corporate, regulatory, risk, or data-governance.
Strong understanding of file types and Microsoft 365 tools.

Responsibilities

Review large volumes of documents across Microsoft 365 apps, PDFs, and formats.
Identify and redact proprietary, confidential, or sensitive information per policies.
Validate redactions for completeness and accuracy; perform QA reviews.
Identify, track, and remediate sensitive data artifacts and exceptions.
Maintain logs, audit trails, and documentation for reviews and compliance.
Use advanced Excel formulas to support data matching and inventory management.
Analyze large data sets to detect patterns, gaps, and issues.
Work with data governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with business, technology, cybersecurity, legal, and risk partners.
