HIAS seeks a Program Officer, Quality Assurance & Training to coordinate data collection, cleaning and analysis for the Preferred Communities program and to provide technical support to the HIAS affiliate network. This position is based at our headquarters in Silver Spring, MD or our New York, NY office, with remote options for applicants outside commuting distance to either location.

The salary range is $60,000–$68,000.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree required; ideally in Social Sciences, Information Systems or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience connected to data analytics.
• Experience using data visualization tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of U.S. Refugee Program required; previous work experience at a national resettlement agency or resettlement affiliate is an asset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint and MS Teams; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word is essential.
• Knowledge of Apricot data management system is preferred.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with varying degrees of oversight.
• Strong communicator, with experience helping to demystify data for teammates and use data to produce programmatic insights.
• Travel to insecure operating environments may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, clean, analyze and report PC program data.
• Coordinate with HIAS affiliates to verify data accuracy and fill gaps.
• Upload data to the ORR database.
• Provide PC and related program data to HIAS internal departments as needed.
• Review and approve monthly affiliate invoices.
• Offer technical support to HIAS affiliates on data collection/reporting and best practices.
• Update PC forms and documentation with PC staff.
• Support monthly and semi-annual ORR and private funder reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
