Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking a Part-time Data Management Technician to support the North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) with data management and Salesforce administration.

The role involves maintaining client records, performing data cleansing, and assisting with data analysis on special projects while coordinating with the IT team. Some travel may be required; hours are part-time and compensation aligns with local market rates.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Business, CIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing computer applications, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and ability to drive FTCC vehicles.
• Two years of business, data research, and/or application software systems management.
• Advanced skills in word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Support the Technology Systems Coordinator with data entry and data hygiene for the NCMBC Salesforce system.
• Operate client management software and update data files and peripheral equipment.
• Identify and correct duplicate or incomplete records in Salesforce.
• Standardize data formats (phones, addresses, emails) and validate naming conventions.
• Assist with data imports, exports, and updates for data sets.
• Maintain data integrity and perform regular audits and quality checks.
• Merge and deduplicate account, contract, and client records.
• Collaborate with team to ensure data accuracy and governance standards.
