Job summary

Qualitate is seeking a Data Operations Associate in New York City to ensure data quality across the platform. You will own QA processes, handle data escalations, and build scalable workflows that support the company’s AI-native research platform.

You’ll work with SQL, Excel/Sheets, and BI tools, driving end-to-end data integrity. This lean team expects hands-on ownership, strong problem solving, and comfort with ambiguity as we scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Data Operations or as a QA analyst.
• Strong data validation, cleaning, and quality-assurance experience.
• Proficient with SQL and Excel/Google Sheets; familiar with AI tooling.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication about findings and resolutions.
• Wants ownership in a lean, early-stage team.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity in early-stage data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage data QA processes and iterate on workflows.
• Handle data escalations and root-cause analysis.
• Build compliance guardrails into data processes.
• Drive end-to-end survey launches with cross-functional teams.
• Tackle unstructured data and improve AI-enabled workflows.
• Manage offshore service provider relationships and reporting.
• Maintain SOPs for scalable, repeatable processes.
