Job summary

Airtable is seeking a seasoned Data Software Engineer to design and own mission-critical data pipelines, enabling data-driven decision making across the company. You’ll partner with data science, analytics, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions and measure impact.

You will advance AI-driven data discovery, maintain foundational tables, and ensure data quality and performance of the data warehouse, while driving cross-functional collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing, creating, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Strong experience with SQL and data modeling.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Python).
• Experience with Airflow or similar workflow managers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and own mission-critical data pipelines to enable decision-making.
• Build and maintain foundational data tables for analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analytics engineers, and stakeholders to translate business questions into data solutions.
• Improve performance and reliability of the data warehouse.
