Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. seeks a Data Product Owner to lead data product development and governance in the Finance domain.

The role coordinates between business teams and technical experts to deliver data products for the Data Marketplace, ensuring milestones, design, and data quality standards are met. Responsibilities include backlog management, prioritization of data use-cases, collaboration with Data Architects and Engineers, and mentoring the team on data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Business Data Analytics, or a closely related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst, Software Engineering Analyst, Software Engineer, Data/Analytics Engineer, or closely related position.

Responsibilities

• Own the data product backlog and roadmap.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver data products in Finance for Data Marketplace implementation.
• Define features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers for problem solving and solution design.
• Mentor team members on data product build, data cataloging, data quality and governance.
• Communicate with stakeholders and train users on product features.
