Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Data Owner Lead in the Card Data and Analytics Team to own data created, provisioned, or consumed to support analytics, operations, and reporting. You will work with the Product Owner and tech leads to ensure data quality and safety.

Responsibilities include planning delivery, defining data scope with metadata, supporting analytics, partnering with stakeholders, and guiding data risk and governance throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a data-related field.
• Experience managing delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Subject matter expertise in data/content governance and data quality.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and big data technologies (AWS, Google, Azure; Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, Snowflake).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to articulate complex concepts to senior audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create plans for the development and delivery of product data to support strategic objectives, operations, analytics, and reporting.
• Identify the scope of critical data with metadata for understanding and control.
• Support data requirements for analytics platforms and document data quality expectations.
• Define requirements for new data products and collaborate with data engineering.
• Develop processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks (protection, retention, storage, quality).
• Manage milestones, risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the data product lifecycle.
• Track and manage workstreams and KPIs to ensure successful deliveries.
• Manage staff to execute data-related tasks.
