Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Data Owner Senior Associate in Business Banking to govern data created, provisioned, or consumed across products and applications, supporting analytics, operations, and reporting.

You will partner with Product, Technology, Analytics, Operations, Risk, and Data Management to ensure data is clearly defined, well-documented, high quality, and protected throughout its lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of experience in a data-related field.
• Experience with business or product data and data documentation.
• Working knowledge of data management, metadata, privacy/security, retention, and governance.
• Translate business needs into data requirements and partner with technology teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and cross-functional partnerships.
• Familiarity with SQL, database concepts, cloud or big-data platforms, or data modeling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the scope, meaning, ownership, and classification of critical Business Banking data.
• Create plans for the development and delivery of product data to support strategies and reporting.
• Document requirements for data accuracy, lineage, metadata, and consumption.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks related to protection, retention, storage, and quality.
• Collaborate with Technology, Product, Analytics, Operations, Risk, and Control to remediate data issues.
• Support integration of Business Banking data into analytics and reporting platforms with governance.
• Track workstreams, KPIs, and deliverables for transparent data initiatives.
• Maintain documentation of data models, structures, rules, and delivery processes.
