Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New Jersey is seeking a Data Owner Lead within the Chief Data & Analytics Office to drive data strategies and foster a data-driven culture, leveraging AI/ML to support business goals.

You will lead data governance, ensure data quality and security, and collaborate with Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations and Risk & Control to deliver data products and capabilities across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Five years of experience in data management, governance or analytics.
• Proven leadership to manage delivery timelines and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data content.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategic plans to deliver data solutions and data products.
• Manage project execution, mitigating risks and inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with partners to document and classify critical data with metadata.
• Provide subject matter expertise on data content and usage within business areas.
• Develop relationships with data providers and consumers across functions.
• Document requirements for data sourcing, content, and quality.
• Develop processes to identify and mitigate data risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Support data analytics by governing data integration into analytics platforms.
• Communicate and resolve data issues, maintaining data integrity.
• Manage and guide staff in executing data-related tasks and initiatives.
