Louisiana State University is seeking a data analyst to consolidate, analyze, and visualize data by generating reports using SQL, MSSQL/MySQL, Sharepoint, Salesforce, and Tableau.

Responsible for data consolidation, analysis, and visualization through the generation of reports. Utilizes various technologies and software packages including generic SQL, MSSQL, mySQL, Sharepoint, Salesforce, Tableau to generate reports, visualizations, and metrics. Provides reporting support to marketing, retention, and management teams by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results. Familiar with a variety of the field’s standards, concepts, practices, and procedures. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Requires a bachelor's degree. Plays an active role in supporting the technical needs of LSU Digital and Continuing Education staff and programs. This position is responsible for managing and supporting the Digital and Continuing Education electronic reporting systems, as well as creation and support of all required reports on those systems. As a member of the Information Technology team, this full-time staff position reports to the IT Director and works closely with the staff within LSU Digital and Continuing Education. Is responsible for maintaining a line of communication with management to ensure reporting needs are satisfied in a timely manner. Works to maintain accurate information regarding available reports and communicates that information in a digital format. Assists all units within the LSU Department of Digital and Continuing Education with reports related to educational, marketing, and business processes. Initiates, implements, and provides reporting support for new projects in consultation with LSU Department of Digital and Continuing Education and other applicable units on campus. Other duties as assigned by Director. Works with other analysts in the LSU Department of Continuing and Distance Education to complete reporting-related projects.
