Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Data Privacy Delivery Lead to drive execution and continuous improvement of enterprise Data Privacy capabilities. This hands-on role translates established strategic direction, regulatory obligations, and business needs into well-defined backlogs, feasible technical requirements, delivery milestones, and high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate can move between the forest and the trees, managing an integrated roadmap while ensuring data outputs are accurate,

Qualifications

5+ years of experience delivering data products or privacy-related solutions.
Ability to translate objectives into complete backlogs and milestones.
Technical fluency across relational databases, cloud data platforms, and reporting tools.
Ability to define field-level requirements and data definitions.
Experience guiding developers, analysts, and engineers without being the primary builder.

Responsibilities

Own delivery of Data Privacy products from intake to enhancement.
Translate objectives into prioritized backlogs, plans, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
Define technically feasible requirements for developers and vendor partners.
Evaluate data platform designs and guide sound technical decisions.
Lead cross-functional delivery across Privacy, Compliance, Legal, and IT.
Drive discovery, refinement, development, testing, and transition to support.
Ensure outputs are understandable and usable by non-technical stakeholders.
Establish quality measures, controls, and documentation for audit readiness.
