Job description

We are currently seeking a Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Lawyer to work with some of the world’s largest companies across multiple industries.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and counsel on privacy compliance requirements and opportunities for improvement of privacy policies.
2. Work with and advise business and compliance clients directly, as well as providing guidance and practical solutions.
3. Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders.
4. Provide legal advice regarding privacy, privacy impact assessments, data-sharing, and related issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 4+ years of experience working in the data privacy space.
2. Substantive data protection and data privacy experience with in-depth knowledge of U.S. and EU privacy statutes – including GDPR, CCPA.
3. Experience standardizing policies, protocols, and training programs, including related documents such as vendor and client contracts, and providing guidance across stakeholders like business, product development, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and procurement.
4. Active bar license in the state where you reside.

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers a competitive starting salary of $140,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health benefits, 401K, and more.
