Job summary

iwoca is seeking a Data Privacy Manager (Privacy & AI) to drive day-to-day data protection for the German business, applying GDPR, BDSG and emerging AI governance requirements in practice. This hands-on role blends privacy operations with regulatory assessments.

You will liaise with DPO, partner with Product, Legal, Tech and Ops, and help shape data strategy while ensuring compliant use of AI across platforms.

Qualifications

Strong practical GDPR expertise and data protection operations.
Experience with AI governance or EU AI Act readiness.
Ability to translate legal mandates into operational compliance.
Proficient in conducting DPIAs and LIAs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain GDPR compliance framework aligned with updates.
Lead privacy risk management across data pipelines and AI workflows.
Automate DSAR intake and fulfillment and RoPA updates.
Define privacy and AI governance strategies for regulatory alignment.
Collaborate with Product, Legal, Tech, and Ops teams.
Oversee vendor privacy due diligence and DPIA/LIAs reviews.
