Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a data/BI professional to own data pipelines and reporting for cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment. The role blends data engineering with analytics, building scalable processes and dashboards that reduce manual work.

You will design data flows, automate recurring tasks, and partner with Account Management, Carrier Procurement, and Yield to deliver trusted, self-serve insights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a data, reporting, or analytics role with supply chain, procurement, or transportation exposure.
• Proven ability to build dashboards, scorecards, or reporting systems from scratch and drive adoption.
• Comfortable pulling and blending data from multiple systems into one source of truth.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate scattered reports into standing, repeatable data pulls for teams.
• Design data flows between MercuryGate, DAT integration, Excel tools, and BI layer.
• Identify recurring manual work and build automation or AI-assisted workflows.
• Consolidate dashboards into a single, current trusted set.
• Track and fulfill data and reporting requests from multiple departments.
• Improve waterfall and auto-tendering workflows and cleanse labeling in the TMS.
• Blend diverse data sources into a single view and contribute to a new rating engine.
• Collaborate with leadership to understand data needs before building it.
