Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to design, build, and maintain enterprise data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and related services. You will enable reliable reporting, analytics, and automation across business systems.

You will partner with Enterprise Solutions, platform owners, and analysts to implement scalable, secure integrations, ensure data quality, document data flows, and support cloud-native modernization efforts with Azure and Microsoft Fabric

Qualifications

3–5+ years in data integration, data engineering, ETL/ELT, or a related technical role.
Strong SQL skills with advanced querying and data transformation.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database/SQL Server, and Azure Blob Storage.
Experience building and troubleshooting production data pipelines and integration workflows.
Experience integrating data from APIs, FTP/SFTP, and structured files (JSON/XML/CSV).
Ability to diagnose data quality issues and resolve pipeline failures.
Strong ownership mindset, learning orientation, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines in Azure.
Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot data movement issues, and coordinate remediation.
Integrate data from various source systems using APIs, FTP/SFTP, and flat files.
Maintain data platform objects and ensure reliable data movement and transformation.
Ensure data quality, performance, and cost efficiency through best practices.
Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to design practical data integrations.
Document data flows, mappings, dependencies, and runbooks.
Support modernization toward cloud-native solutions with Azure and Fabric.
